Why all cole projects say interscope now?? How that work, I thought they stay to the label they released under lol, like cole world, born sinner and fhd should be Columbia.. all this albums say licensed to interscope on streaming… why tho? What kinda deal that n----- signed with them lol. Or if he own his masters they should just say Cole World or dreamville

We're for sure getting FNL and now Truly Yours. I could be wrong but pretty sure they couldn't play any songs on the series without clearing them. He played Stay so there you go. Who dat was the first cole song I heard.. what they saying about what that song did for his careeer is all facts.. it won’t a hit, but it put a spotlight on him for sure, cause it def caught my attention when I first seen the video on 106 . And they mentioned 106… that’s crazy . I remember that day vividly.. I was in the 11th or 12th grade, I was in my room, doing homework or something, my ma and sister was in the front room watching 106, I overheard his interview, heard them mention he was from NC, so that caught my attention, I turned my tv to 106 after that, and caught the video, and was feeling that s---.. after that I got on datpiff and searched j cole, saw the warm up , the come up and the blow up.. listened to the warm up first since it was the latest release, then went back to the come up and the blow up… been a fan of cole since lol.. at that time, I was feinin for some real s---, some dope hip hop. Him and ib was right when they was saying hiphop was real popish and melodic at the time, s--- was corny, and it was the tail end of the ringtone era.. cole s--- was a breath of fresh air in the game for me… at that time before I discovered cole s---, I won’t bumping s--- but pac and old lil Wayne s--- (tha Carter, Carter 2 and 3)
