Yea.. I want them to do it like they did last time, bring some unity back to the rap game.. even if the division is media pushed, they should do that invite s--- again to k--- that narrative..

But first they need to get off interscope, go independent . Distribute through gamma, empire or united masters.. that way ain’t no major label telling them dudes they can’t drop.. if someone like jid or ari want to sign to a major , let them do their own lil joint venture.. kinda how tde artists got their own s--- going, they all on different deals.. sza under rca, doechii under capital, schoolboy under interscope.. then you got n----s like ab soul strictly independent just releasing under the TDE imprint. Dreamville need to do it like that, cause the s--- they got going now ain’t working.. I can see Lute, Cozz , earthgang and omen signed independently on Dreamville, while Bas , JID , and Ari through a major.. they just got to find a way to restructure their s--- at this point

the way cole and ib was talking on the podcast seems like they got a good relationship with interscope, but they got to look at their label and the artists don’t have that relationship, they complaining about it, get them n----s right, cause what’s the point of having a label if the artists can’t drop their music??? Why cozz ain’t dropped a project in 6 years???? s--- ain’t right, who would want to sign to dreamville seeing s--- like that?

s--- got me questioning, what is dreamville?? What’s the mission and long term outlook?? Is it just some s--- to push Cole’s brand , kinda like what OVO is to Drake, or is it a real label trying to sign talent ?? If cole dip after the fall off and fall to the back, maybe he can get it right and push his artists more, he’ll all the time in the world, maybe that’s the plan..

It would be awesome to see Joey reach his potential. He's got greatness in him.

Verse 2 is dope. First one is good but not as hard as the second.
“Too much west coast d-ck lickin”

    100%

True when Jay-Z said it in the 90s and true today when Mr BadAss says it.

Take note of the raw lyrics and no need for bells and whistles. That’s how hip hop is. Straight up talent with lyrics and flows. No whispering, weird cadences, mumbling or wannabe edgy art school s--- like those two west coast hipsters.

Bruh… why n----s acting like they don’t understand Drake pov.. they saying he was talking to lebron on fighting irish.. so let’s say Drake and lebron was cool at some point, clearly they were, then Drake see lebron going to Kdot pop off show, dancing to a diss track dissing him, how is Drake wrong to feel some way?? Kinda like with derozan.. I’ve heard ppl say derozan said in an interview when he got traded Drake was there for him or some s--- like that, then derozan all in the not like us video lol, I would be like f--- that n----- too if I was Drake lol

I just feel like, if you a grown man, and you cool with Drake and dot, you watch from afar and stay out their lil issue, if you get asked about it in an interview or something, you wish them both the best. n----s ain’t got no type of morals or nothing, just be wanting to be apart of s---, that’s hoe s---..

I fail to see what’s good about this track. I don’t see why anyone is losing their s--- over this. To me it’s mediocre at best just like most of his s--- has been lately. Sounds like every other fake lyrical rapper a--- song these days. Even J. Cole would do better on that beat. Joey fell off, and I haven’t f----- with pretty much anything he’s put out since that 2017 album.

Before anyone says it, I’m not just saying that because he sneak dissed Kendrick or the west or whatever. I’ve held this opinion long before this and I’m pretty sure I’ve posted about it on this forum before, especially with how mediocre his last album 2000 was. Maybe he should put out some good music before he goes dissing rappers that are better than him lmao

Should be dropping between now and dreamville fest I say next month maybe, I hope. Or he might just do like he did last year with might delete later and drop same weekend as the fest. I agree tho, idk why they taking so long to drop the fall off, s--- ridiculous lol, ion even use that word, but f--- it, s--- RIDICULOUS lol. That s--- better be the best s--- since all eyez on me. I bet his next project won’t even be the fall off tho, it’s gon be some whole other s--- he never mentioned before lol, the fall off pushed back to 2026 lol

The longer he takes to put it out, the higher people’s expectations are gonna be too… hopefully you’re right about when he’s dropping because these expectations are gonna get to a point where it’s hard for anyone to reach them

I f--- with it, just some dope traditional rapping.. I think I agree about his last album tho, think I listened to that one time, and never went back to it.. I actually copped a physical copy of Amerikkkan badass tho, that album was definitely better.

Me personally I don’t have high expectations and would be fine with something similar in quality to The Off Season, but I completely understand people having expectations because like you said they’ve been moving weird for a long a--- time about this album. I just hope he gives this thread something to get excited about

That’s understandable, it is some traditional rapping and nothing wrong with it at all. I guess I’ve just seen some people overhyping it online, but that happens with everything these days. 1999 was a great album, and I don’t know if he’s quite captured that greatness since. 2000 was a disappointing sequel. Although yeah, All Amerikkkan Badass was pretty good, I bumped that a lot when it came out. I’m not sure why he lost steam, I don’t know if it’s the acting jobs or if he just ran outta s--- to say or what

That new lil baby album weak.. n----- need to switch up the production. Idk why n----s be scared to branch out and get out their comfort zone lol.. same with dababy, boss man dlow, all them n----s. ain’t no way ima rapper and keep rapping over the same sounding s---.. at some point you gotta hear your s--- and be like naw, I got to switch this up and elevate
