He says something's that are very true about women, but he's very contradicting and hypocritical like most males in America.

What you guys don't seem to be getting, is that throughout ALL his songs - Cole seems to paint women as either being this or that. A ho or not a ho. Trustworthy or not trustworthy. As either pure or impure. He might venture into the territory of creating a more encompassing narrative but has yet to fully embrace his position to accurately comment on the complexities of women in general - unless he honesty believes he's this complicated figure, while every single women he meets either just is or isn't something

I agree with your last statement. BUT when you question if one rapper has the right to question who decides if a ho is a ho, that's just going to far bruh. Like did you really just ask that?? I'm all for criticizing EVERYONE! But that is crazy.

I think we get your point about his inconsistencies as far as song-writing goes but the question is if it is something that detracts from the quality of the song? Hip-hop is always a hot-bed for controversy and impreciseness so it's very easy questioning the validity of pretty much any rapper who approached a mic before. The simplicity of a few Cole songs make it more straightforward and to the point and if you ask me he succeeds in addressing whatever he is trying to imply since here we are debating.

did u even listen to the songs ? ... he doesnt paint the woman one way or another in each song as u claim, he is painting them as complex beings (just like men) with different sides IN EACH PARTICULAR SONG ...

I'm asking what exactly is a "ho desicion?"

Somethin society dictates isn't "proper" for a woman to do?

Any action made by a woman Cole disagrees with?

Is Cole agreeing with gender stereotypes? Because he doesn't seem to be invalidating them...

No ones saying Cole is the answer to our societies gender inequality problems or the cause of skewed gender perceptions, but these are valid criticisms raised when you try to make social commentary.
