Just as a comparison NWTS sold 83,000 copies it's first week. Obviously they didn't account for the streaming last year but these third week numbers for Cole are very impressive.

With streaming I think Cole can definitely make it to platinum. Hes got to this time.

Yeap. Being socially aware in general has become the new "it" thing. Kinda like the new hipster. A lot of people pretend to care about these issues because it makes them look better, and of course you throw in social media and things just go downhill. I've seen so many people use the deaths of Mike Brown & Eric Garner for likes and RTs. It's sickening.

I also think that even the people who have the right intentions lose sight of what they're really fighting for. I feel like this generation wants to stand for something SO BAD (which is great), but you should know what it is you stand for. Don't just do it because you want to feel apart of something. That turns serious issues into fads of the moment and causes the powers at be to take our outrage lightly. They assume that we'll be over it quickly, and sadly, half the time they're right.

Lmao see this is that faux feminism that I was talking about. It's not about Cole being the man and subsequently having the right to criticize the female. Stop distracting from the message. Cole admits that he's was wrong in that song as well.

I feel like people are trying so hard to eliminate the concept of a "ho". Slut shaming is wrong, but some women are just as bad the men out here doing wrong. Those women deserve that title if that's what you want to call them, IMO.

Every man that criticizes the behavior of SOME women is not a misogynist. Every woman that criticizes the behavior of SOME men is not a feminist. So many women are out here hiding behind the cloak of feminism to justify terrible behavior. Using your sexuality to take advantage of men is no better than scumbag dudes who use what they have to take advantage of women. Cheating, on both sides, is wrong. Situations like those warrant the term ho in my opinion if that's the word you want to use.

True. I cant argue against the fact that he simplifies it to sisters vs hoes sometimes. I just feel like if you take the time to listen to his catalogue beyond that, he's touched on soooo many sides of the problem. The blame has been placed on both the men and the women, as it should be (for the most part).
