i had noticed this from first listen but didnt even think to mention it cause u guys wud prolly say im reaching as usual lol ...

but seems as yall were talking bout no role modelz before ...

first off i agree with @Kold 100% that cole is acting "shallow" towards woman himself ON PURPOSE ...

but wat i wanted to say is u know how the first verse ends:

"She think I'm spoiled and I'm rich cause I can have any b----
I got defensive and said "Nah, I was the same without it"
But then I thought back, back to a better me
Before I was a B-list celebrity
Before I started callin' b------s "b------s" so heavily"

...

to me at that point i thought he was gona rap something about himself, cause thats where it seems hes going by the way he was rapping (like i said i thought this from first listen so just imagine my first listen and me trying to finish his bars and guess where hes going next)

i thought he wuda rapped sumin like "before i started calling b------s b------s so heavily ... i respected them more and treated them gently"
lol horrible bar but i think u get the point ...

but instead he flipped it and was actually just putting down the girl even more

"Back when you could get a platinum plaque without no melody
You wasn't sweatin' me"

and everytime i listen to the song actually i kind of hear him rapping that last bar differently instead of wat he says, like thats always where it seems to b going but obviously its not ...

now this could b intentional, it could not, i could be reaching but i figured seems as yall were talking bout no role modelz its worth mentioning ...

you could kind of say the same thing with the end of the second verse too

"You think if I didn't rap she would flirt back
Takin' off her skirt, let her wear my shirt before she leave ..."

at this point with the way he delivered the last line u might think he might rap something else, like sumin sweet to the girl, like for example (once again will b a horrible bar but just an example lol: "before she leave, ask her when she gon come back" ...

but then instead once again the way its delivered so quickly its kind of like hes treating it as a joke:
"I'ma need my shirt back
n----- you know how it go"

I KNOW I SAID JB THEORIES WERE RETIRED WITH JCN BUT I FIGURED I HAD TO THROW IN AT LEAST ONE THEORY FOR YALL JUST SO YOU KNOW FOR SURE ITS ME LOL

a lot of u will prolly say im reaching as usual lol, but i hear it so its watever think wat u want ... but all of this goes along with wat kold said bout how hes being shallow on purpose and also the only real theory i made about this album so far about how its a complete 180 from born sinner in the sense that on that album it was the woman in control (and also on 03 adolescence "in love with the baddest girl in the city wish i knew her") ... but then by the end of the album (no role modelz in particular) it is COLE in control of the woman (and if u wana extend that theme to rap game - in control of his music)
