Willing to add to the FHD vs TPAB convo when it happens, should set off some fireworks. On the subject of drizzy, I agree he'll go onto be the hov of this generation but I really can't see him pushing any boundaries in terms of subject matter, that'll be the only thing holding him back. I sense we only gonna be getting bars like this or worse in the future...

That thread idea sounds like fun, it'll be another challenge our world-renown defense team will emerge victorious in. Haven't honesty had the urge to listen to TPAB in weeks actually, it's phenomenal but it's not something I find that accessible or compelling to keep replaying.

yo im deleting this off my computer so if any of you guys wanna see this ever again i suggest you save it

this is the write of that dude on JCN who heard an EARLY version of Cole World TSS, like some early 2010 s--- I think

1. He told us this next song was something he was inspired by Nas to do. Sayin it came from a concept where Nas spit it having u think u knew what he was talkin about then he flipped it at the very end and u saw he was talkin bout something else entirely. Think Commons - I used to love H.E.R. actin like it was a female then switchin it to hiphop. The songs beat dropped and everyone was scramblin to get their jaws off the floor by the time Cole was spittin. Lyrics were ill, that classic cole s---! I still remember the quotes and some hot lines from the song but I can't tell u them, sorry. He drops the switch up and reveals what he was talkin about. A few of us got it, I didnt at first ill admit. Then he explained everything.It was Night Rider.


2. When he played never told, I spazzed. Never told was a bit different. The verses were the same, but the concept was...a lil different. The first chorus was the same the whole "u wanna be a man?" s--- was there. The second chorus was different. It had a different sample there altogether and had nothing to do with the girl leavin him. Then yall know that outro to the song from 2:35 on? It wasnt instrumental. It was covered by sound clips of other people talk bout s--- related to what he was saying and cole, s--- was TOOOOOOOOOOOO ill! The last clip was Richard Pryor sayin some funny s--- and getting applause and the song ended on just the beat and applause. f---in SICCCCCKKKKKKKKK. but even then cole said he was worried they wouldnt be able to clear all those sampled clips. Especially richard pryors cuz of how much money itd take, he was discussion lil behind the scenes stuff like production and how he did certain things the whole night too.


3. I regretfully cant remember the name of the second No I.D. track. I just remember it was the second time we all asked him to play it over again. We never did get our jaws off the floor for the rest of the night lol.

4. He told us that he wanted this to be the outro. Said he thought it fit perfectly and wanted to know what we thought. A cheerful uptempo beat came in with a girl singing to Cole. Cole jumps in and goes in reflecting on the journey/struggle. It was ill. He put a different humorous spin to it and the chorus was the same chick singing too him. That track was Too Late. It was supposed to be the outro, and it was a PERFECT outro in all of our opinions. We told him he couldntve picked a better one.
