    i didn't even realize he wasn't using a band for act 1 tbh :noah2: ... but now that i rewatch some of the videos ur right i see its just him and IB Da Guy aka DJ iTunes aka DJ Tidal :hov:

    but it makes sense seeing as it was just the small cities, he probably just wanted to have a practice run and didn't want to have to pay his band :hov2:

    I'm sure act 2 and especially 3 will b bigger and better in many ways ... we will see what he does tonight

    not at all. Its the biggest positive cole has IMO. If you listen to that rocky interview, he keeps talking about how artists dont need singles or big pushes from their labels anymore. Thats what coles biggest impact is in the game, the fact you should develop an artist rather than focus on getting hit singles out there

    word, even with love i thought it wuda been a tough series but without him i cud easily see it going 6-7 with every game being a battle ... will b fun to see lebron and kyrie go all out tho

    but man all i know is clippers warriors conference finals has to happen and either one of those teams vs Cavs in the finals will b f---ing amazing

    The no singles/little promo/core fans matter the most is all backed up by Cole's relatable music, though.

    Oh yeah no doubt, I was just confused at the shots fired comment on here lol. Pretty impressive how almost every big Hip hop artist is taking this approach now. Cole really is laying foundations on the genre. And he is another reason I want Tidal to be a success. Because as much as we all joke about Cole and Jay's relationship, Jay knows that this project is about getting your core fans to support the artists and Cole is the epitome of that. Im really thinking of getting the Tidal free trial today just to watch the live stream show.

    Kendrick album flopped fam. Critics on his d-ck cause he earned it with GKMC and a Grammy snub, but I rarely see the people talking about TPAB :idk:

    i mean its a great album, it just didnt connect with the people at all. It was almost like kendrick tried too hard, whereas S80 and GKMC seemed way more natural.
