    From being a stan of yeezy and knowing how much emotion is behind the "tell nori about me" part makes this song so special. It feels like kanye finally accepting the loss of his mom through the birth of north. Song is way too beautiful.

    Second verse on Can I Live made me go "wow". 3 years later while he's rapping the same song he looks directly at me for like 3 full bars. Crazy.

    First heard of him at school. These n----s were ALWAYYYYSSSSS talkin about Cole. I finally listened to CW: TSS and 'Breakdown' and 'Lost Ones' has me like "wow this n----- is somethin' else":whew::cp3:
    I always wish that I would have heard of him earlier though

    He caught my attention on Beautiful Bliss but I didn't check for Cole until I was suggested to download FNL a year later. Return Of Simba made me believe someday he will be a great.

    The Warm Up made me a fan, but "Back To The Topic" freestyle(back when he first released it in '09) was what really sold me.

    I was hooked man I used to check 2dopeboyz everyday to see what he dropped next. Good times :banderas:

    Actually I lied, the first time I heard of Cole was when my pops saw the Who Dat video and yelled to the whole house (it was like 12 am mind you) to come watch the video. (He gets hella passionate about music)
    I know y'all think i'm exaggerating but i'm dead serious. He yelled to the whole house. We were sleep. We were sleep and he just. kept. yelling :snoop:
    I didn't actually hear Cole, though until a year later. My pops was a fan before me:shmurda:

    My homeboy put me on Cole in 09'. I was in my second year of college and he was playing music on his laptop in the lounge of the dorm we lived in. "Grown Simba" starts playing and I automatically go "Yo, who's that?" I honestly thought it was probably one of his friends that made some music or s---. He gets all hyped and tells me that it's Cole. He sold me on him just by his word of mouth, so the curiosity and everything he said got the best of me and I went and downloaded the tape. It's been history ever since. Friday Night Lights made me a hardcore Cole fan though.

    I remember seeing him live for the first time at Rihanna's LOUD Tour and I was literally the ONLY PERSON in my section watching him perform. He was so hyped to see me actually going crazy and rapping along to the songs that he shouted me out twice. lol
