    meek already under 20k :laff: Kendrick and cole are goat. Gotta applaud kenny, album had zero songs for the radio and nothing was watered down and he still selling decently well.

    Winter 2014… I was just another guy working a job he hated with a passion for music…. And somehow found myself on the phone with One of my idols..
    i told him i worked in a bakery and his exact words were “f--- that, your destined for greatness"…
    Hearing that from someone that I’ve been studying since 2009, bar for bar…. Theres no way to describe that..
    Most of the project was done before i came in the picture.. i remember him playing it for me for the first time thinking "Why am I here?” like.. what does he need me for??
    The answer is.. Nothing…
    I watched this man piece together words in front of me…
    I watched him write/ replace bars 2- 3 at a time on 6pm in NY.. I witnessed him light up, go in and freestyle madonna….
    I took notes from the best in the game….
    I remember him Showing me the thank you notes in NY before the album dropped.. Showing me the QM, telling me they put me on the credits (Ghostwritter???) … He attached my name to something that touched the world..
    When nobody would pay attention, drake saw something in me and reached out… Of all people… drizzy..
    Two artist in exact opposite spaces in their career.. We came together and made something special..
    I am not and never will be a “ghostwriter” for drake.. Im proud to say that we’ve collaborated .. but i could never take credit for anything other than the few songs we worked on together ..
    Thats all i have to say on it.. back to this 1317 s---…

    finally listening to elephant eyes ...

    think it shut have a stronger intro than motion picture, some fresh s--- we didn't hear before
    i had already hear lovedrug and its dope
    same jezebel is pretty wack
    elephant eyes is nice
    father figure is really dope ...

    omen k--- his last verse on sketches of paranoia probably on of the best verses i heard from him

    however: "the best rapper's just the best actor" ...

    so either omen saying cole an actor or he's saying cole not the best rapper ... either way its shots :khaled:

    :phew: sweat it out starting off fire my favourite song so far i think

    edit - sweat it out one of the first omen songs that would actually catch my attention and i would listen to even if omen wasn't associated with cole/dreamville

    zions nice too, theres definitely some nice songs on here ...

    decent project nothing crazy, def too short for a project it took him wtv years to make ... omen has his lane, nothing changes the fact that cozz is still the one with most potential in dreamville

    Cole really killt his no sleep verse like y'all saying tho

    its essentially the concept of fhd twisted into a verse in a dope way

    and thats janet f---ing jackson cole on a song with, her first song in who knows how long gotdam, how many rappers has she ever collabed with ?

    i feel this song will get cole a lot more fans/recognition cause its a really main stream friendly verse, all clean like y'all said, anyone can follow along wit it but its still deep at the same time ... perfect mainstream verse tbh

    This song grew on me quickkkkk. Smooth as f---, and has that 90s feel. Cole's swag in this is on point too.
