    The Game was GOAT in that era, dude was pure energy.

    Despite all the diss tracks though, he never made an album similar to The Documentary again. No amount of money or success could replace golden era 50's helping hand :idk:

    True, I was in denial back then, but listening back The Game had a point to prove. He just couldn't focus that energy into making an album on par with his debut.

    I don't think he had the skill set to make joints like How We Do and Hate It Or Love It :idk:

    But he has a great ear for beats, and similar to J. Cole, he has a great flow/mic presence. Doctors Advocate was a great album too, I feel like that album is a more accurate description of Game as an artist than The Documentary.

    Those were 50 all the way, I mean anybody can eat when their plate is already made. If 50 didn't step in I'm sure Game would of got shelved like 50 said.

    How do you know Drake didn't bring this guy in because he liked his sound, and while they were making 10 Bands Q said "Maybe you should spit that part like this" and recorded the reference track? My point is you don't and neither do. The only thing we know is that Drake has been in the game for about 8 years now, and this the 1st time his writing credibility was called out, and all it amounted to was people finding out Q.M was credited as a writer on the tape and a few short reference tracks.

    Edit: It also brought us the slow death of Meek Mill.

    At the end of the day... We all know Drake is a star and most of it came from his ability to make a hit record.

    There is no taking that away... I'm not gonna say Meek f----- up cause he thought he was doing the right thing...

    but you can't just throw salt on someones name and pretend like you aint do nothing.

    Lmao credits have been given the same way for 10,000 years, why does drake gotta be the guy to tweet QM name? If he was really so vital to drakes career he would be up there with 40. But he gave drake 4-5 bars and now he should have his name next to drakes? Smh Drake hate is ridic. Without drake rap would be dead. Cole and Kendrick put out music every 2 years, drake out here dropping hits and throwaways for free just keeping the genre going. Kudos to drake for bringing in outside help here and there, he's trying to expand his sound and not box himself in.

    more so than I used to. NWTS and and current project are my favorites. And I was a big fan before the debut dropped but I don't listen to those early projects anymore
