    Tbh if Dre dropped his album 2-3 weeks later when this Drake - Meek drama is finished, he would be close to going gold first week. He will have a strong 2nd week tho, so he will probably go gold next week.

    sorry y'all but compton is EXTREMELY MEDIOCRE ... not even gonna mention the raps, but the beats especially, they're not s--- u cud ride to, they're just way too busy, the drums aint got no rhythm to them ...

    sorry but I'm just telling the truth - listen to f---ing westside story and compare it to the beats on here, theres just no comparison ... the beats on here are trying too hard, its not just a simple dope timeless melody that we used to be accustomed to from dre, theres f---ing drums that give u a headache on every song

    willing to bet u thats not true ... he won't sell more than 200 (not even close to it imo, 150 if he lucky, prolly closer to 100) second week ... and nothing wood have changed without the drake meek beef

    its 2015, no one cares about dre anymore, especially when he doesn't deliver, if he delivered it might have been a different story ... but anyways thats what happens when u wait 16 years

    You're a legend b, but you're trippin heavy if you think this is anywhere near mediocre. I don't know what you been listening to lately, but the production on this especially is something we haven't heard since GKMC, Every sound is clean as f---, every instrument has it's own soul and energy and everything sounds organic af. I'ma producer bro, and when I listened to this s--- first thing I thought to myself was "I ain't s--- really compared to this", don't mattter if 14 tracks were co-produced by someone. This album is legit and probably my favorite this year, and sales will go up when the movie comes out. He'll do 350k with streams this week.

    idk man, its like i say the beats are just too busy, the drums don't move you they jus give u a headache ... animals just came on and its the first beat that actually moves my body and makes me bob my head foreal foreal (besides for the love of money which like i said was good too)

    I agree to a (small) extent about the beats. I'm not sure many if any of these songs will catch the ear of the radio and none of the beats are like iconic as we've been used to previous dre pojects. But I still can respect the detail in these beats and the effort thats gone into them is insane. I'm no producer but every beat to me sounds incredible but I agree some may be a bit too busy for u just to sit back and nod your head. To me its dre just flexing his skill and I don't think it reduces from the enjoyment, can admire greatness when I hear it

    Just sit with it, this album is pretty close to perfect, and you'll agree with time. I know it's not the signature Dre sound, and it's left field compared to all of the loose joints that dropped preceding this, but this is closer to a symphony than any thing this genre has ever seen in the past. That includes MBDTF.

    Every song has 8 switch ups and 4 different moods, every verse is 10/10 from a writing stand point (shout out to King Mez the NC native who wrote most of this), and every contributor is utilized perfectly.

    The "moments" he gives this album using nothing but his ear and his production ability is crazy too. That Eazy-E interlude (shout out to my n----- Eazy/Eazy-E CPT OG from the other side/It's easy to say you need me) and then how the whole song changes off of that s--- is GOAT.

    The end of Issues as well, that s--- is a GOAT moment for the whole album.

    Every second of every sound is cared for, you can tell Dre put every 5 seconds on loop to hear it over and over, and then did it again in a 30 second segment to see how it sounds as a whole. He went in on this album b, I'm baffled that he had this ability left in him. This is like Jordan coming back and dropping 50/15/15
