    I guess a mixtape is just the artist having fun and flexing whereas an album has a structure and a story. I understand what people are saying about this sounding more like a mixtape using what I said as a reason. And that's not a bad thing! I've always found Cole to have some kind of superiority complex and full of himself with his albums. This solves that. I enjoy it.

    That’s why it’s so good, no constraints to sticking to a concept of a traditional album. Just 12 tracks with no need to try to connect them in some way for the sake of an “album” format. like his old mixtapes, they were just a collection of good tracks. I feel this album follows the same format as his mixtapes. I think he may have put it out as a mixtape, but at the status he is in the game, it doesn’t make sense to release his projects as a mixtape.

    I like buying the albums too. It's so hard to now. The only place I can find to purchase the MP3 is Amazon.

    Not a Cole fan by any means and usually find his albums super mid but I can't deny he's been killing features lately and I liked his contributions to ROTD3, so I'm legitimately interested in how this sounds
