    Fun listen but its still a low tier cole project. Even all his mix tapes are better than this. I guess I'm not too mad since he admitted this is a filler project.

    I've been listening to Morray non stop for the last few months. I was so happy when I heard him start singing on My Life. He's the real deal.

    I guess a mixtape is just the artist having fun and flexing whereas an album has a structure and a story. I understand what people are saying about this sounding more like a mixtape using what I said as a reason. And that's not a bad thing! I've always found Cole to have some kind of superiority complex and full of himself with his albums. This solves that. I enjoy it.

    I'm enjoying this on first few listens. Much more than his last few albums for sure. Kinda taking me back to mixtape Cole. 21 and Baby killed it and Cam, Cole and Lil Jon is never a combination I'd ever think I'd hear lol

    Growing on me a bit. I like the production. At the end of the day this is likely filler material. Just gonna enjoy this little run

    This ain’t full of filler lol. 95 south, The Climb Back, Let go my hand and my life are some of the best songs in his discography. Plus he kills it lyrically on Applying pressure, punching the clock and close. Weak link = 100 mil and that’s not even a bad cut. His bars make up for the generic hook.

    J Cole is a good rapper. Just because something is filler doesn’t mean it’s bad, at least not in my eyes. These are likely songs that wouldn’t make The Fall Off. I think this album is good. It’s entirely too early to call any of these songs best in his discog tho, that’s me tho.

    To each his own! This is a totally separate project from The Fall Off though. They’re not just fillers that aren’t good enough for an album. The Off-Season is an album. He’s been plotting both albums for awhile. And The Climb Back has been out almost a year @Tom Brady it’s def one of his best.

    Again, I’m not saying any of this is bad and “not good enough”, I’m just simply saying that this album is more bridge-material until his next. It’s nothing groundbreaking. And I like the climb back but you’re trippin lol. I digress; beauty of music is that it’s subjective!
