Jul 15, 2015 What's even better is this comment under the youtube vid (by pushpopLoC909) The point of Kanye's a------ act is just that.... an act. He's living in his art as a character that thinks so highly of himself he's assumed the role of a deity almost. That's the point of his art and his character. Jack is spot on. You can hate the character (which the real Kanye is nothing like to be honest) but you can't hate on his music and his talent. It's almost like he's actually backing up his claims as being a really talented artist. He's like that cocky d-ck head dude that says he does all this s--- and you doubt him all the time and assume he's just making s--- up and then you come to realize "Holy s---... he actually does and I'm just hating on the dude because of his cocky attitude". While he may not be the greatest artist of all time... he's probably one of the most inspirational and most iconic at the moment and for years to come no matter what he does. That's the point of his character. He builds himself up and proves his point while those that choose to ignore his work just hate on him blindly. His character is definitely an a------ though. There is no denying that. He's a cocky, self indulged a------ and honestly that's the reason why he's so good. He's so convincing that people actually hate HIM but love his work. It's like some sort of f----- up experiment that goes according to his plan. Lol Jack is on point and that's why I like this even more seeing this come from someone (whom I assume, so forgive me if I'm wrong) doesn't really listen to too much hip-hop or at least I don't associate him with it in my mind. That said, Jack Black is f---ing awesome and personally my favorite person in the world. Kanye is just under him for reasons. (lol at the last part tho) ___ I'm so happy seeing a high-profile artist pay his respect to Ye while defending him so passionately. Jack Black a confirmed real one!
Jul 15, 2015 I feel like the hate against Kanye is on its biggest point now, Jack black and other persons are noticing it and I think the "cool to hate Kanye" trend will soon pass when people will see the hate is exaggerated and listen to his music. Hopefully in a year or two everybody will be capable to enjoy his music.
