Aug 8, 2015 Let me be perfectly clear, anyone who kills another for reasons other than self-defense, greater good (shoots obvious terrorist), or unlucky misfire if you're just a civilian with visual proof (you gotta be a r----- to pull off misfiring while dicking around with your gun and shooting someone in the process), a cop, guard or somebody hired to protect, it doesn't matter how sane you are, you deserve the death sentence. A life sentence basically is saying, "yeah you killed somebody, but you get to still live and breath in a cell the rest of your life, remembering you killed ____" like they really gaf what they did.
Aug 8, 2015 What? Lol. They determine whether the defendant is insane or not through physiological evaluations & even doctor testimonies. I don't understand your "intelligence" argument. If a doctor determines an individual is insane, they are likely insane.
Aug 8, 2015 When I said "You mean the mental health problem?" I was responding to your "real problems in america" which isn't just this instance. It's obvious that mental health isn't the only cause, that's why I responded to someone else saying that it's intertwined with gun laws as well. That's not the only 2 causes, but I'm not going to look up what's been news for the past 5 years or so about the subject to bring up other things. You can do that yourself.

When the feds come after the guys who owe for taxes, etc. they claim that bs and sometimes get out of paying but get locked up/sent to rehab. The "insane" pity game we have in our system needs a major fix, not only for killings
Aug 8, 2015 I realize that but that could be said for anyone who gets locked up for a violent crime. People charged with attempted Murder to assault, armed robbery etc. can cause violence inside prison as well but we don't sentence them to death either. Also, that's a possible but very unlikely scenario. Prison escapes don't happen often in the U.S. & he will most certainly be locked up in a maximum security prison.
