Mar 13, 2020 I really like this. Production is great. Jay Z is great. Shiny Suit Theory and the last song are my favorites. Such a vibe this album has.
Mar 14, 2020 Wish this was better, it's still partially great just cause both Jay's are just phenomenal when it comes to the mic. It's messy and somewhat uncohesive, makes me wonder If he just rushed this to put something out there. I do hope we get the remaining ancient tracks in some shape or form from that Act II tracklist, it says a lot that Shiny Suit Theory has practically been ageless after all these years (honestly all those other leaks were beyond stellar too).

Mar 14, 2020 Listened to it twice so far. It's fine. Listening to somebody who pledged his fealty to rich people a long time ago try to be radical through ethno-nationalism hotep stuff is interesting. Hov sounds like he did his verses through a prison phone. Never need to hear him say photic reflex again lol. It's a consistent album. I can't say there were many highs or lows.

Mar 15, 2020 the second half of this - Universal Soldier to APIDTA is absolutely impeccable. Shiny Suit Theory feels a bit of place out of place but Ghost of Soulja Slim and The Blinding are great too. I mean I'm not complaining - we've finally got to hear a Jay E album and he's just as brilliant as he was 10 years ago but I'm still just left wanting more lol. I wouldn't say Hov renegaded this (Jay E definitley more than held his own) but holy s---, if this doesn't cement Jay-Z's place as the greatest rapper of all time, I don't know what will.

Many of you may remember me being active on this forum very frequently when Koolo (is he still going by koolo/still here?) started this forum and closed Studioleaks (R.I.P. to the best forum ever, you folks may remember me as KRITIC on SL) Anyway I've been bored as s--- for past 4 days and it was bout d--- time i come back to my favorite forum. With that said Jay Elec finally dropped the d--- f---ing tape 10 years late but better then never. and wow!!! What a incredible tape. Does anyone have a download link though? I hate listening through spotify. Any help much appreciated, happy to be back fam!
