    i'm down for the listening session of volume 1. i've said this before, but this is the jay-z album that doesn't get enough praise. to me, this album is as good as any album he's made excluding reasonable doubt.

    Just listened to this for the first time in ages last week. I always ranked it as my least favourite of the trilogy but it's a lot better than I remember

    Yeah let's just listen.

    intro is one of Jay's best songs. so is the premo remix with extended verses on the first beat, but i love "rhyme no more"
