this album taught me how to talk to girls

edit: no vaseline > takeover... barely. prefer the beat (although LOVE the bowie/doors samples. brilliant.), and the dramatic essence of their beef (fmr groupmates) rly makes cube's rhymes stand out in a way few diss tracks do

This album was really good. Jay's rapping felt captivating and larger than life on this for the majority. The first half is flawless with it's soul sound/blues sounding production. I got it tied for 2nd with Dynasty at the moment.

Jay's Second is up there. It's a classic song, either way. I feel like Royce eats them up anyways in terms of fiery delivery. I wish the final had all three of them on the track so Royce could get the shine he deserved at a young age.
