    This is completey biased. They are not the same musicians and their skill sets are different.

    For example, Kanye's ability to produce music is miles ahead of Marshall Mathers. By your logic he is a way better artist then right? Because you can judge how good someone is based on your guys strong suit and how well both artists achieve your guys hip hop vision, right?

    Well it's not ignorant if I have listened and lived with Jay's material and can back-up my exact statement mate, also adding a qualifying comparative statement to MMLP content prior to that. So it's not ignorance.

    How are any of those Jay's albums deeper or better, artistically than what I stated:

    "I am whatever you say I am"... 'any criticism of me you have... I will inhibit that as a character - through stories, concepts... themes. I will become that, the ultimate that" and using that basis to provoke society and point out hypocrisies about media, violence and free speech?... (AND on top of all that also be personal. And funny.)

    That's just conceptually.

    If we're talking musically? Yeah, it does.

    Eminem is a better lyricist, songwriter and musician.

    I'll be the first to admit that I'm an Em stan of the highest caliber but this just isn't true man. Nothing wrong with stanning Em but take some time to dig through Jay's discography. Try out some other artists.

    Lol. And I love how people are sayin' this. Dude, I have already listened every album of Jay Z. I'M not talkin' without any knowledge here. But it is what it is for me. I'm not gonna get into a argument that nobody would won at all. I'm just sayin' my opinion. I think prime Eminem far more better than any other artist. That's actually why Eminem's my fav artist of alltime. If I thought someone was better than him then, I wouldn't say Em is my fav at all. Prime Em was far more relatable for most of the people I guess specially outside of US. And it's not even about lyrics and s--- always. Sometimes u just like how one guy sounds more than other one s---.

    American Gangster is near classic level. Some would even argue it's already a classic. Lyrically, it's incredible. Sonically, it's incredible. What else do you need?
