this lossless music and "listener oriented" s--- are fronts for what this really is if it's really artist owned. the artist get the lions share of the money instead of Spotify or w/e other streaming services there are.

What a pointless press conference tbh. Other than announcing the other artists involved, they didn't really give any new information, or explain why these artists are choosing to back this.

If you're trying to lure people away from services like Spotify, then you need to be more explicit about why that is the case.

I don't know how or if it will trickle down to the other artists, but with Spotify there is no profit at all going back to the artists.

I got the 30-day free trial just for s----s and giggles. It runs very smoothly and has a lot of good music that Spotify doesn't, but I still don't see a huge difference between the two. I don't think Tidal does well tbh... And it's pricey af.

f--- these greedy artists! What they should do is support "illegal" downloading of music. They should be happy that their music has touched so many people.
To recoup the "lost" money they should go on tour more often and charge more for it. Simples. You can't "steal" the feeling of a live show and these guys will sell out venues no matter what.
