I don't know why I thought these albums were weak, maybe it's just because they're not often talked about. Nonetheless, outstanding albums

This is my favorite of the volumes for sure, some of jays best bars and Big Pimpin alone makes it a classic.

Listened to the album earlier today. Felt too long. Would remove S. Carter (though I love the title) and Pop 4 Roc.


Also, from wiki,

"The UK/Europe edition of the album (which was released several weeks before the US edition) features an alternate track listing. "Hova Interlude" replaced the track "Watch Me" and "There's Been a Murder" was replaced with "Is That Yo b----" (featuring Missy Elliott and Twista). "Is That Yo b----" is an alternate version of Memphis Bleek's "Is That Your Chick". It also has "Anything" as the closing song (track 16) before the two hidden bonus tracks. This version is how the album was really intended to sound, but due to heavy bootlegging of the promotional copy, Jay-Z went back and changed the track listing for the North America release at the eleventh hour."

Preemo and Jigga never fails to sound good. Tracks I like on this album include: So Ghetto, Do It Again, Dope Man (greaaaaaaaat song), It's Hot, Snoopy, Big Pimpin, There's Been A Murder and Come and Get Me.

Loved the songs that Timbaland had a hand in.

Volume 3 is better than I remembered, but there are some songs I really don't care for and drag it down a bit for me (s carter, pop 4 roc, there's been a murder). I love Hova intro/outro, So Ghetto, Big Pimpin, Do It Again, Come and Get Me and Dope Man.
