    I been telling everyone from day one that Mountain Dew and COD are gateway drugs that lead to s--- like listening to Eminem and Hopsin, but can get even worse with full blown stannery of either or

    Ok.

    First of all: thread like this are pointless on here. These days every x vs emimem thread will turn out the same way. One group will always vote im favour of eminem, and the other group will always vote against him. Stans defend everything he does and these days the other group would even pick the worst albums ever made over Eminem just to show how much they dislike eminem. Even on the music they used to love. Some people are consistent when they talk s--- about him though (like soldier) so I get that.

    Now, I have told bc that I haven't listened to TES in years so I dunno where that comment came from @Mike Tyson . I only listen to a few songs of it on occassion. I like the album, but yeah parts of it are very corny and dramatic if you listen to it right now. In no way do I want to 'defend it' lol.

    As for Thug. I am just not a big fan of him like some of you guys are. He is one of the most creative and talented rappers right now, nobody can deny that, and I absolutely love a lot of his songs. However, his weird voice annoys the f--- out of me on certain other songs. People praise songs like Harambe, and I get why, but I can't stand his voice on it lol. It not an insult, just a reason why I am not a fan of song like that. Same goes for the fact that I'm not so happy with certain types of beats.

    I am not gonna vote simply because I haven't listened to either for a long time and dont plan to anytime soon.. but for different reasons.

    * I am also too busy bumpin HNDRXX

    Yeah, maybe if Thug connected with me more I'd be able to see clearly, but man...did we listen to the same Jeffery? That s--- came and went for me man one of those first listen classics that I never had an urge to go back to. All I remember off that was that Wyclef joint. Maybe I gotta go back. Have a hard time believing it has better tracks than Say Goodbye to Hollywood and Till I Collapse.

    This thread is funny for the insults given to Eminem but god d--- is Eminem going to win. Not because of talent but because of his fanbase.

    Eminem is okay but I was never a major fan. His beats are weak and his voice is annoying but his lyrics are decent.

    On topic, I like Jeffery, but not nearly as much as when it was originally released. Considering it's just 10 songs, the flaws are certainly more perceptible compared to previous projects. Guwop and Pop Man drag on for wayyy too long. Some features (Young Scooter, Duke, Gunna) are blatantly cruddy. Pick Up The Phone doesn't fit in the tracklist at all. Floyd Mayweather is a weak follow up to Wyclef Jean. The highlights of the project (Swizz Beats, Future Swag, RiRi, Harambe) pale in comparison to stuff like Power, With That, King Troup, Halftime, Best Friend, Hercules, There's Gonna Be Good Times, the already mentioned SS2 best tracks, etc. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good mixtape, and surely one of Thug's most accomplished efforts by a decent margin, but somehow its momentum just wasn't enough. B6 was without a question the better commercial project.

    As for TES, I hold heavy bias towards it so I feel like I'm not qualified enough to assuredly say it's the better record. However, even with all its vexing flaws, any album with Hailie's Song holds a special place in my collection. I guess I'll take one for my Kazakhstan buds and go with Em.
