    mainly cape jazz, acid jazz, & bebop.

    I know there's a lot of poetry in these genres though :emoji_wink:

    I f--- heavy with Davis, Duke, Donaldson, Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, etc. And I listen to alot of the sub-genres like free jazz, soul/funk, blues jazz, Avant-garde, Bebob, but in all honesty TPAB's jazz vibes didnt't really blow me away in the way it seems to have shattered everyone else's criteria.

    Thats weird, I heard it for the first time 2 months ago and I thought it was just as brilliant as most of my favorite jazz albums but to each his own I guess, I can respect that.

    Now that I think about it, I pretty much agree with what herbie hancock about TPAB being the reason for the renaissance of the classic L.A. style of the 80s :wow5:
