Mar 6, 2016 I feel like the producers on tpab don't get enough credits tbh, Kendrick was like kanye on this album, he didn't do anything by himself Kendrick literally hired all the best musicians in jazz and funk music (a shitload of them actually) to work on a single project... you have to give them props for this
Mar 6, 2016 Here is what he said: says TPAB is one of the greatest albums of all time -says Kendrick is the only one on the way to be able to compete with Kanye's discography -says Kendrick is 2/2 classics -says he doesnt know how much credit he can give to Biggie because Diddy was there, and Diddy was always consistent with hits -says we havent seen Drake do any "full length albums that are just hands down better than anything else" like Kendrick and Kanye have -says no Drake/Cole album is on the level of TPAB/GKMC -and if someone would ask him what is Drake's or Cole's classic is he would have to pause -also flames Charlemagne for tweeting about how suddenly everbody fukks with TPAB and wanted it to win AOTY at the grammys. Mar 6, 2016 surprised there aren't more people in here hating on tpab tbh Drake can't really make concept album type s--- like gkmc/tpab, and FHD is probably the closest cole will ever come to making a gkmc type of album and while I love it, it's nowhere near gkmc. I do think him and kdot could make a classic album together tho.
