He's down talked them and their scene a lot so is it surprising that they reacted to joe this way? Not really... Look how he treated Lil Yachty. Two things: A - DJ Akademiks is the equivalent to TMZ to me. I'll believe it when I see it. B - joe Budden works for complex. He doesn't even have to talk, just sit there and shut up. Instead he wanted to be over dramatic (like he usually is) and play theatrics. Even if what DJ Aka said is true, this was still a b---- move by someone who's considered "press."
Jun 26, 2017 the yachty situation could’ve been a prerequisite to this since they’re label mates but wtf lol, if what ak said is true (which it is), he’d be a b----/s--- up to NOT do anything. he showed love from the beginning when they were off camera and they stared him down when he tried to shake their hand? lol joe is a kino charlemagne in his own sense and that’s just his personality so the way it was ha sled was prolly a bit theatrical but he’s not “in the wrong” also, idk if you mean new generation rap in general or specifically atlanta rap but he loves a lot of “new” artists so idk wym by he talks down on their scene

No. And while I don't like him I can at least applaud him for staying professional. Joe didn't even have to say anything, just sit there and let DJ Aka do the talking. It's called professionalism. This is exactly why I rolled my eyes when I heard joe got this gig. He's a hot head tv personality given a "press" badge. Just do your job. His antics and theatrics are annoying now, I don't find them amusing. He's 36 years old and has kids, grow up. Stop trying to front like you're so hard or better than everyone. s--- is like when Canibus tried to diss J. Cole. I meant new generation rap in general. I pointed out Atlanta because that's largely what's popular right now. He tries to keep an open mind but whenever discussing the state of hip-hop, he always gives off this impression as if this generation is below his. Even though he claims to like artists like Thug, Future, etc. he clearly doesn't respect them on the same level as like a 50 Cent or Game or someone of that nature. It's basically all backhanded compliments from him.
