    Some lines in this were really good but it just feels unnecessary. Joe should have just released this song and waited for a response

    I agree.
    This is an near-perfect diss, but Joe's beef is so unexpected and random.
    Imagine walking past somebody one day, greeting each other but not really paying each other any mind, and then the next day he's talking s--- about you behind your back. There's no f---ing rhyme or reason.

    Drake doesn't benefit at all by responding. Hope he doesn't and Joe fades back to obscurity. Joe is definitely starving for attention trying to get meek and French Montana to diss him also

    Budden is like bottom tier at shady records though
    People jumping on the budden hype train, but still sleeping on slaughterhouse and shady.

    That's the mentality most people have but shouldn't. Not saying you have it, just putting it out there.
    If he doesn't respond, he's the bigger man who doesn't want to give a has-been any undeserved attention.

    It's not about Budden nor was the main objective to gain anything out of this.

    This has always been about Drake. Both checking his arrogance (perhaps a poor choice of wording) and inspiring to be as great as we know he can/should be.

    This beef won't hurt Drakes popularity, but failing to respond on record will hurt his standing within the rap community (imo atleast). This shows us if Drake really wants to be a rapper or a pop star because he can't be the former if he keeps ducking high level MCs calling him out.

    If Jay was dissing and responding to nobodies back when he was on top,there is nothing but excuses on why Drake can't respond to Budden.

    Your point is totally reasonable, however, Drake is way too big to be punked by the rest of the rap game.
    No matter what they say about him, he'll still be on top, making more money than they'll ever see in a lifetime.
    Like I said before, he'll just make little sly shots at the rappers who diss him (Budden, Meek) while those rappers will eventually base their whole careers on dissing Drake.
    They focus less on real music and sell less, while Drake continues his music and sells way more.
