Jul 5, 2024 How are ya bud? Always liked you. Great question. I did touch on this on a previous lengthy post on this thread. Did you read all that? I can go more into detail if you want, but the gist is Relapse was Em having fun and you can totally tell. Em does have fun on MMLP, but also a lot of the hate and anger is real. The angry white boy persona was real. Sure, he won’t go out and do the acts he is saying on the records, but a lot of the things he said at the time were f----- up. I mean on Relapse he was saying all this f----- up s---, but doing it with a dope Arabian accent lmfao. It was a fun concept album after a long hiatus. His flow, cadence, and rhyme schemes are also top notch. Better than MMLP imo. More polished. People think because I have MMLP so low that I hate the album or something. I still genuinely enjoy the album and would still rate it around 6/10. I don’t think Em has a bad album per se. I just don’t think the sound of the MMLP or early 2000’s era has aged well. It sounds so dated, and the lyrics are not cool or edgy anymore. Dre did his thing, and there are plenty of classics but it ain’t the chronic 2001. I agree that Relapse lyrics also haven’t aged well, but at least they aren’t serious in the slightest. Relapse also is one of the best produced albums of all time imo. Dre killed it, and those beats still sound fresh and unique today. It’s all just opinions dawg, and I’m just trying to express mine. Music is subjective and a lot of it was the good times, feelings, and nostalgia we had when these albums released. Maybe Relapse is too high on my list and MMLP is too low. I’ll have to go back soon and relisten to some of these albums.

Just ignore him, then once he sees no one responds or cares, he disappears. He tries so hard to fit in with the legends of this forum like JMG, M Solo, DKC, Ricky, etc, and I. I know it eats him alive knowing he isn’t considered a top dawg with the elites and that no one actually like him or cares about his opinion.

Rev out-of-the-the blue hit up SlamboS (whom he'd never met before; had just known him from o.g. d12world message board) for help with the birthing of his first son.. Can't remember exactly, but recall Rev just wanted SlamboS to bring a camera to take a polaroid pic of his newborn son! cheah love to Afeni Shakur!! I actually still got that pic as a framed magnet on my burner basement fridge (next to Dre he's locked up). SlamboS showed out that day (by responding impromptu lol "ya had to be there (as his roommate)" Well look what The Stork brung!!!!!!!!! Our buddy Rev's, new-born, son!!!! Jul 7, 2024 I don’t necessarily want Rick Rubin on this album. I think what they did together was great, but not sure I could see a rock sample fitting into the concept of this album. However, if they worked together on a non rock sample beat that would be dope. I wouldn’t be opposed to a bonus track of a rock sampled beat. I would like to see alchemist, Dre, Mustard, Se7en, Stoupe, Czarkeys, daringer, Ali, and Eminem himself. We probably won’t see any of these guys but would be dope.
