    Sure but then again reviewers also give half starts so 2.5 stars is a 5 which still "looks" better than a 4.

    However the system I think for me its also because of school. You guys work with letters, but here we get a grade from 1 to 10 with tests/exams.

    You need at least a 5.5, which is rounded to a 6 to pass a test. At school, everywhere.
    So I'm used to that grading system, which means if I give an album or movie a 5/10 I think its not good enough for a "passing" grade. Not that its terrible but not a good movie/song.

    If I give it a 5.5 or 6 thats like the bottom of okay for me. Funny how these things can be or at least feel so different haha

    2/5 = 4/10 and if 5/10 is middle of the road then 2/5 isn't that much below average

    That's why a 5pt scale is better cuz there's too many numbers with 10 so they become less meaningful the lower you go. A lot of people consider anything below a 7 bad. Psychological like you said

    but for real I agree to an extent but like a 2/5 feels very below average to me, while a 5/10 is literally middle of the road. Same with giving a 7.. means its really good to me but 4/5 (so an 8) has to be special. Its more a psychological thing though lmao

    Thats how I felt giving it a 5, it's like why do they like it so much, then you're on the other end like wtf how does he give my fav album a 5

    I think that makes it fun though, doubt many of you have listened to My album but I'm excited to hear opinions.
