Jan 31, 2025 @Justin Trudeau @AOTWClub The Trudeau Tape: Starting off I'll say the first 6 or 7 tracks was the strongest opening of a mixtape for me so far, possibly cause I'm familiar with and love half of them (Van Halen, ELO, CCR) but even the people I've wanted to listen to more had great picks like Fats Domino, The Tragically Hip, and Gordon Lightfoot! I didn't save every song but there wasn't a miss on here for me, What's The Beat was great, same as the Mase and Marilyn songs. Sweet Home Alabama being the last pick was extreme whiplash but it's a classic so I don't mind lol. Favorite mixtape yet Favorite songs: Ain't That A Shame, Runnin with the Devil, Evil Woman, Bad Moon Rising, Bobcaygeon, Sundown RATING: 9/10
Jan 31, 2025 @Justin Trudeau The Trudeau Tape - REVIEW Score: 9.4 (15/16) Wow, solid f---ing tape and put me onto a lot of s--- I hadn't heard before. 24 Hrs. to Live is so dope, why haven't I heard this before?? Also, What The Beat is dope as well. One of those Eminem feats that you have to dig for on Spotify. A lot of classics on here, Ain't That A Shame, Runnin' with the Devil, and Evil Woman was a crazy 3 track start. Only track I didn't save was the Manson track. I listened to that album for my album bracket and that song just happened to be a song that I was not big on when I listened to the album, but it's not an awful song. 3 mixtapes in and there hasn't been a song I have been desperate to skip. Feb 1, 2025 Looking back mixing 3 or 4 contrasting genres wasn't the best idea and I didn't expect everyone to like the french songs but I decided to go for it anyway lol. Now I have a much better idea of what i'm doing next and I think most of you will dig it and maybe discover some new songs too
