Mar 9, 2025 Okayyy lets goo: The Desolation Of Jim Jazz So, this tape has a lot of the same genre. Which is not good or bad btw just noticed that. The instrumentals to all the (punk/alternative) rock songs are like 10/10. But there is something about the vocals, specifically the pronounciation or accent that doesn't really click with me. Which isn't a flaw, just personal. Baby Criminal - probably the best example of what I mentioned above. However it's catchy as f--- and the instrumental is amazing. 8/10 Almost had to start a fight - kinda copy/past the previous song except I like that one a little better 7.5/10 Jimmy Jazz - yeah so this is just f---ing great lmao. Kinda silly but I love it. 9/10 Alone, Together - great track. Vocals are a little monotone (?) Except when it picks up second half. 8/10 Born under punches - love the laidback feeling of this song, but not the biggest fan. Still solid though 6.5/10 Crabs in a Bucket - it is okay, not a huge fan. But also not a Vince fan in general aside from some s---. 6/10 Empire Ants - first half is kinda boring to me, but I love the second part. 8/10 Sea Ghosts - not my type of music but its hard to call it bad. The papapa s--- annoys me lmao. 6/10 Distance - another example of an amazing instrumental. Love the vocals here too. 8/10 Teeth like gods shoeshine - I dunno I want to like this because its a nice deeper cut but doesn't really click w me. 6.5/10 Half Sister - yeah here the vocals are not my thing at all. Instrumental though >> 6.5/10 Calendar Hung Itself - same as halfsister tbh but like the more upbeat sound 7/10 Trying to explain - objectively not bad but puts me to sleep 5/10 Empty Stomach Space - also a bit too boring for me 5.5/10 Whats Good - this song is all over the place, which is creative but yeah Tyler is so hit or miss for me, this is a bit too much lmao 5/10 30 - love energy he brings here! Dope track 7.5/10 So yeah it seems like I'm not really positive but I really enjoyed listening to this. I haven't heard anyhing before and its not a genre I usually go to so thank you for that @Jimmy Jazz !!! Giving this a 7,5! @AOTWClub
