Mar 14, 2025 @Allis Mines @Justin Trudeau @AOTWClub Big Monkey's Blow Up Doll (best title yet) The score rebound from your first album pick to now is crazy and I'm here to add to it lol, I liked pretty much every song here. I didn't save a couple songs to my own Spotify cause a couple of them didn't click with me as hard as the others for one reason or another but it's not a knock on quality. I also like that you sticked with a whole genre, it's hard for me to do that cause I'm ADHD brained but you did a good job keeping everything coherent. I've been in the mood for chill rap music lately so it hit me at the perfect time, started out great with D.R.U.G.S. and I wasn't expecting the Mac ad-libs but it was great all around, Symmetry was also awesome I need to listen to more of basically everyone on the playlist more and Saba is no exception. Carefree was one of my favorites, love everything I've heard from Mick, (How Could Anybody) Feel At Home took a bit to grow on me cause I didn't like the vocal effect on the hook but now I think it's the best part of the song lol. Waves On Every Chain and Not A Drill are a couple of my favorites of the playlist back to back, I think the sequencing here worked quite well. Fresh Prince also took a couple listens for me but it's cool, not an immediate favorite but I do like it now. Dead Or Alive is super good, big fan of that one. The little boom bappy block with Reality Check and The Come Up was greatly appreciated, kept the energy while keeping the playlist from getting stale which is a balancing act. F (R) Iends was dope, not something I'd listen to often just cause it's heavy but I really liked it. Indian Summer was pretty dope, a lot of Alchemist stuff while I respect it incredibly isn't usually my tempo very much but I liked it. Deeper was a cool addition to this little storytelling block, not my favorite but solid, same with Mommy Dearest although I think this Boldy track was more interesting than deeper, it's pretty f----- and the writing was great, wouldn't go back to it much but it's very solid. Griselda is hit or miss for me like even when it's songs I like it still feels like a coin flip on if I'll enjoy it depending on my mood, Lemon isn't one of my personal highlights on the record but it was super entertaining for what it is for sure I like the inclusion of Matthew In The Middle, it didn't hit the hardest for me sonically but it's a good closer with some great writing. Although the whole playlist didn't hit as hard as it did for others to me it got pretty d--- close and is absolutely one of the best we've gotten so far, good s--- man. Favorites: D.R.U.G.S., Symmetry, Carefree, Wave On Every Chain, Not A Drill, Dead Or Alive. RATING 9.5/10
