It's so good it's off the charts

But seriously, adding a few spoilers to the OP might be a good idea. To archive old rounds.

No worries man, you keep it super well organized so I thought I might as well let you know cause I honestly spotted that it’s missing by pure accident.

Even just scrolling through the huge-a--- amount of albums and tapes in the OP makes me feel lost, so huge props to you for running a tight ship. That’s gotta take real dedication.

The number of albums we've reviewed so far is pretty impressive. Who would've thought it would last this long?

It's nice that Trudeau has been keeping track of them and calculating the scores. It'll be great for future reference.

Yeez - When The Blood Burns

Lot of annoying stuff got in the way of me listening to this as much as I wanted but safe to say I loved it!

Starting off on an instrumental track is bold but it was a great opener, gorgeous track.

Now with the start of the non English tracks I'll say basically all of them worked for me personally, I really liked La Grasa de Las Calpitales. Some parts of it were weird as h--- in a very entertaining way some of the vocal delivery also oddly reminded me of Elton John? Great stuff

Fun House is another risky but great pick that doesn't feel as long as it is and transitions quite nicely into Waves Of Fear which was also solid, I really need to listen to more Lou Reed and Velvet Underground

El Borrego is cool, it's nice hearing genres that don't feel as represented in other languages done well!

Sueles dejarme is great as well, one of my favorites of the foreign tracks, adore the overall production of this one.

Not even gonna bother trying to spell the name but the Kino song is another favorite of mine, it's just a perfectly distilled 80s sound

The Isley Brothers are The Isley Brothers, there's not much to say, performance and instrumentation are immaculate. 10/10

Now I wasn't expecting the Ween pick to actually be one of the instrumental choices but it's probably a top 3 of the Playlist for me, the guitar tone is perfect the song itself is equally calming and engaging.

Grace is an album I've been meaning to listen to for a long time and Eternal Life shot it up the list of what to get to, it's so exactly my s--- it's crazy. Buckleys highnotes remind me of Chris Cornell on this track it's incredible. My favorite of the Playlist.

Yolanda is another incredible track I appreciate doing a Bobby Bland track that isn't Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City. Gorgeous smokey track.

Much like I said with the Isleys, Outkast is Outkast of course Babylon is great.

Now sometimes I forget that Beck f---ing slaps, Debra is close with Eternal Life as being my favorite song on the playlist. Everything about it is perfect.

My brother is a big R.E.M. fan so I appreciate the pick here, I love Michael Stipes voice and the band always knows how to support it perfectly goated song goated band.

I'm not super familiar with Television although the name does ring some sort of bell, love this song though and it's another case of it not feeling as long as it is, good shot.

And last but not least is The Voice Of Love, nice beautifully comfy sing albeit with a sense of melancholic uneasiness that's perfect for Twin Peaks and the simultaneously a perfect ending to the mixtape, especially after Torn Curtain. RIP the goat David Lynch, may his impact on cinema not be forgotten.

Favorites: La Grasa de Las Capitales, the Kino song (again don't feel like copying and pasting the title lol), Tell Me When You Need It Again, A Tear For Eddie, Eternal Life, Yolanda, Debra, Turn You Inside Out, Torn Curtain.

    RATING:
    10/10

Finished the cover to my playlist, i was going to spend another 30mins-1hr on it so I can actually make it look decent but I think having it be low effort is funnier so I'm excited to share it.

Also @jankland I heavily recommend checking out Television's debut album. Jimmy Jazz and Allis have mentioned on here before as well, but it's a great project, I think you'd really enjoy it.

Justin Trudeau - Rite of Exorcism
    [IMG]

    1. Witchy Woman - Pretty nice track, works well as an intro
    2. I Put A Spell On You - I’m a big fan of SMC-era Manson so this was pretty cool. I know this track mostly because it was on the Lost Highway soundtrack, and I really dig it
    3. The Devil Went Down to Georgia- Classic track, works well on here.
    4. Bark at the Moon- Very good track, always loving some Ozzy
    5. Werewolves of London- Good track as well, although the “Ahhhoooooh” is a bit silly for me. Not an issue though, it’s pretty funny.
    6. A Nightmare On My Street- This one was fine. I like the lyrics, but I’m not really a fan of 80’s era Will. The beat is pretty neat though.
    7. Somebody’s Watching Me- Track is obviously well known for the MJ hook, but Rockwell’s part is underrated. Good track I’d say
    8. He’s Back (The Man Behind the Mask)- f---ing Love Cooper. Great track once again. If they ever actually manage to bring Jason back in a non-prequel way, this’ll be on repeat.
    9. Night Prowler- Highway to h--- is an underrated album man. Good track once again.
    10. (Don’t Fear) The Reaper-Classic track once again. Always reminds me of Fortnite f---ing Festival lmao.
    11. Living Dead Girl- f---ing love Hellbilly. Sidenote: I was in a class a few weeks ago where they were showing us him trailers, and one of them had the sound that was sampled at the beginning of this song…my ears perked up FAST lmao.
    12. Pet Sematary- Good track
    13. Shout at the Devil- Always a b-----r
    14. The Omen- I’ve always liked this track, although I feel that it’s the weakest in the Damien trilogy. Still works pretty well though
    15. Carry on Wayward Son- Classic track once again
    16. 1-800 Suicide- Always loved this track. RZA’s verse is incredible
Overall, I really enjoyed this tape. The only track I didn't fully connect with was the Jazzy Jeff track, but the beat made it worthwhile anyway. I thought it flowed very well, and I had a fun time listening to it. Big thanks to @Justin Trudeau for the tape, and yeah.
FAVORITES: The Devil Went Down to Georgia, Living Dead Girl, Shout at the Devil, 1-800 Suicide.
