Sep 6, 2024 Agree, at first I did not like that they replaced the OG cast but they grew on me a lot. I did not miss Sidney in S6 (altough she was present by being mentioned by Gail). But w Sid and Gail back it can still be great just like the first 4. Also agree w diggledog that Scream probably is the best franchise: 6 movies in and no bad one yet.
Sep 6, 2024 I just wish we got even more rapper/slasher crossovers in the 2000s. Just imagine "Freddy vs Jason vs Cam'ron"
Sep 6, 2024 My first exposure to Riff Raff was his appearance on Wild n Out, and to say that I was confused would be an understatement
Sep 6, 2024 Are we aiming for edginess by choosing albums that we don’t particularly like and that we think others will dislike?
Sep 6, 2024 I’m not aiming for “edginess”. I’m aiming for more variety. I’m trying to bait more negative reviews out of people. This group has been way too nice. Y’all can do what you want though. Clearly people have been picking albums they think are good. I did that too but the group needs more variety or it will get boring. We shouldn’t just review good albums all the time where everyone gives it a 7 or 8. I don’t even dislike the album I’m picking, but I know you won’t like it.
Sep 6, 2024 We've covered british rap, pop, folk rock, punk rock, classic metal, crunk, west coast hip-hop just to name some. How much more variety do we need? Of course people have been picking albums they like. Isn't the purpose of AOTW to share music we like and hope others will too. It's about having a good time. Albums that are bad just for the sake of it aren't fun but that's just my opinion. It's your week lol
Sep 6, 2024 I was clearly referring to variety in album quality, not genres. Maybe for you. I don’t care if people like the music I share. I’m just interested in different reactions. That’s what makes it fun for me. I could say the same thing about picking albums that are good for the sake of it.
Sep 6, 2024 That’s not being edgy. If it really bothers you that much you can refrain from reviewing my albums.
Sep 6, 2024 You’ve always had this weird passive aggressive attitude towards me. Glad to see your true colors coming out.
Sep 6, 2024 Part of me really wants to recommend one of my favorite albums of all time (Aphex Twin’s “Selected Ambient Works Volume II”) but I also realize that a nearly 3 hour long ambient album would probably get the most negative reviews by a long shot
Sep 6, 2024 You're tripping. I haven't seen anyone pick albums they think everyone will hate just to get a kick out of it. Btw the only reason I did not review your first album is because I hated it. It was gonna get a really low score and you would've called me a hater. I was actually hoping to review your next one but it looks like I will have to pass. But maybe I can get give it a 3 if that's what turns you on.
