New Tyler, The Creator album in an hour and a half.

Judging by the singles, I think it could go super hard.

Tyler has become one of my favorite rappers these past few years. People always talk about the big 3 but I think he should be part of the fantastic four.

I should listen to this Luda album soon. He’s a dope as f--- rapper but I never checked a full project. That’s why this group comes in clutch

I always thought luda was a poor man's red man and never gave him a chance. Hopefully this album changes my mind

Id say he's far from that, this album is definitely not one of his best imo though

    Ludacris- Theater of the Mind

Sob story: My best friend passed away from when I was 25, Ludacris was his favorite rapper. We saw him in concert and he was great. Actually pointed at us during his one song when he said "white people love my s---" cause we were super close to the stage. So I have a bit of a soft spot for Luda and anytime I listen to him it brings back a lot of memories. Usually I don't share this sorta s--- but I really enjoy the members of the group and the convo in here.

Anyways to the album, not my favorite Luda album but like all Luda album has some really good songs on it.

As always Luda f---ing kills the intro, basically a staple of his albums. The intro is always so f---ing good and this one doesn't disappoint.
The "wish you would" TI feature was especially surprising on this album as Ludacris and TI had a rather interesting beef a few years prior. On Young Bucks track "Stomp" luda dissed TI which was a really big thing at the time.

As always Luda has some funny lyrics and flows like butter over most of these beats.

My only real complaint is the slow songs, I'm not a huge fan of Ludas slower songs although there are a few throughout his discography I'm a fan of. Don't really like the ones on this album

Not gonna write a novel for this album, but overall I'd give it a 6.5/10

The good: Intro, Undisputed, Wish You Would, Last of a dying breed, I do it for hip hop
    The bad: nasty girl

This isn't going to be a long review.

    Blu & Exile - Miles

Album was pretty good. Jazz rap is not something I really listen to but the production on this album was solid overall. The negatives were the runtime and Roots of Blue. That song kept dragging non stop. Favorites: Miles Water, The Feeling, Troubled Water.

    7/10

Miles - Blu & Exile QUICK REVIEW

    Score: 8.0

    Review:
Quick review because it is Wednesday afternoon. Great album, you don't feel the runtime on the individual long songs but as an album, it is a pretty long listen. Rapping and production are spectacular, and the samples they were sneaking in there were dope (especially on To The Fall, But Not Forgotten). Good s--- @Gimp

Ludacris - Theater of the Mind

Favs: Intro, Undisputed, Wish You Would, Last of a Dying Breed

Skips: One More Drink, Everybody Hates Chris, What Them Girls Like, Nasty Girl, Contagious

    OVERALL RATING: 5/10

With everything considered, this album balances out to being pretty average. While Luda’s rap tracks are fire, the R&B/slow songs do not work for him at all and they take up like half of the album. Luda’s iconic delivery carries this album. If he wasn’t as entertaining to listen to, this album could easily be 4/10.

It’s nice to hear how passionate about hip hop he is, but then that makes me wonder why he spent half the album on R&B type s---. I know it’s to appeal to women but did they really listen to this? There’s much better R&B out there lmao. These songs make me want to instantly skip them.

There’s some amazing features on here, Lil Wayne especially went the f--- off. Luda has memorable lines sprinkled throughout the album. But the thing is even the rap songs start to get a little stale as the album goes on, I feel like there could’ve been more variety in beat choice and topics talked about. All the spoken word segments on the songs bring some more life and personality to the album though I must admit. There’s a few dope songs I saved to my playlists. I’m glad to hear he has better albums than this though. @AOTWClub

Ludacris - Theater of the Mind
Gonna keep this one a bit short. I hadn’t heard a full Luda album before so I was pretty excited. Overall though, there really isn’t too much to comment on imo. None of the songs are awful or anything (except for “What Them Girls Lile”) but there weren’t any big standouts either. My favorite parts were probably the Wayne, Nas and Hov features but I really can’t think of much else that stuck with me. I wish I had more to say but that’s really about it. Maybe I’ll check out one of Luda’s older albums but I didn’t really connect with this one.
Favorites: Southern Gangsta, Everybody Hates Chris, Last of a Dying Breed, I Do It For Hip Hop
