Nov 18, 2016 Are you asking me to accept ignorance? lol because I'm so not for that. If someone saids some stupid s---, I'm going to call them out on it. It doesn't matter if Kanye isn't "all into politics," if that was the case, he probably shouldn't have said anything. It has more to do with the fact that he clearly lacks the understanding of what he's talking about and then the clear hypocrisy. This is the guy that once rapped "I say f--- the police, that's how I treat 'em, we buy our way out of jail, but we can't buy freedom" and is now boasting about a president-elect who appointed an attourney general that has a history of opposing civil rights lol. You don't get to side note racism as if it's nothing.
Nov 18, 2016 what a fucken waste of time and energy. worry about yourself and the ones close to you that you care about first.
Nov 18, 2016 I'm just not coming to the same conclusion you are after listening to the whole rant. What I got, or what I believe Kanye was trying to say is that : 1) He respect Trump's way of speaking his mind rather than hide behind politically correctness. Like just imagine that when Trump did speak his mind a bunch of bigotry didn't come out. I think someone who spoke his/her mind BUT wasn't a racist/bigot would be a breath of fresh air as president. Unfortunately Trump is a bigot, but I think Kanye was just saying he does like his bluntness. 2) I think he was trying to imply it's ok to have different political beliefs, but you shouldn't just hate someone for that or just assume the worst of people. Rather it's still possible to realize you probably have more in common with people than not and politics shouldn't make or break a relationship. Like Kanye and his managers. 3) the racism stuff is a bit murky and I don't necessarily agree with what he said on this one, but what I think he was trying to say is that racism will never go away so you should just focus on the positives. I think that's a defeated mindset and rather sad, but not some thing undermining BLM or something. Also, I think he was trying to say cryin he racism over everything is ridiculous. Example: police murdering minorites in cold blood is racism. Example 2: my best friend is the building sub in an inner city school in philly and his students called him a racist because he wouldn't tell him who he voted for (he voted for Hillary lol) and they called him a racist for throwing them out of class when they didn't respect him because he was a sub (who respects a sub anyway lol) but that's not racism. That's just what I took from what he said. I just don't think he's very good at saying what he means, but I don't think he's a terrible person
Nov 18, 2016 Ye is the greatest live performer in history of music,he doesn't only perform songs, he is communicating with his audience,he has conversation with his fans and he is connecting with them . GOAT
Nov 18, 2016 It doesn't take much effort to call out someone for doing something dumb. It's 2016, you can do it with a push of a button.
Nov 18, 2016 yeah but it's an absolute waste of time because it achieves nothing. doesn't matter little effort you're putting forth, it just does nothing.
Nov 18, 2016 how u defending a man who wasted peoples money at a concert who went to hear him perform songs not perform a 40min political speech f---ing dweebs
Nov 18, 2016 He's been ranting at concerts for 6 years. That's part of the show, so if they don't like it that falls on them for buying a ticket to his show, not Kanye for doing his routine
Nov 18, 2016 when has kanye ever talked about something this controversial tho he had to know the people wouldn't agree with him other times he ranted people saw it as entertainment this isn't entertainment politics isn't entertainment they didn't pay for politics they paid for enterainment
Nov 18, 2016 I just think he says whatever comes to mind every time he rants, the majority of people don't like any of his rants but know it's just part of the show. It's not the first time he's been controversial and it won't be the last. The sad thing is America wants to make a story of this, but hardly anyone is talking about/knows about all these horrible people Trump is bringing into the White House Edit: everyone would have been fine if it was a rant bashing Trump, but because it's not the same views they have they can't respect it. Edit 2: it was his first show since the election no s--- he was gonna bring it up in the annual rant, people just didn't think he'd have that view
Nov 18, 2016 What do you mean? Like the last sentence? Or people liking that he is a very brash person? Of course some people will hide behind that when really they just like his bigotry itself, but I do believe some people just like that he speaks his mind and not the actual things that he says. (Being 100% serious, I always like to learn and see others POV)
