    in that the strings are in shorter faster bursts and it's more high pitched and less bassy than a lot of the other beats on the album. it's still just a west coast beat tho.

    but the discussion was about uniqueness i conceded that it was influential. it still wasn't all that unique. but it definitely directly inspired a lot of production since it came out.

    Still makes no sense.

    Dre did something tons of producers did before him but it's next level cuz you like it a lot more than the others

    @Koolo I don't think this is better, but IMO it's up there with Kanye's best and comparable with those Dre beats.

    I've listened to the entire album, it's one of the only classic albums i f--- with on a daily rotation.

    This is still nonsensical

    Just because it sounded really good to you in 1999 doesn't mean it was the first song to employ thst style. Sampling and flipping instrumentals from other genres is literally the basis of hip hop, dre didn't change the format whatsoever.

    I mean yeah, as far as quality goes every beat by dre and especially the ones mentioned go hard af and its reasonable to put them in contention for best beat oat but that doesn't make their style unique
