    in this whole story, I most of all feel sorry for his kids. when he says this nonsense, he should at least think about his kids.
    you can be a bad rapper (even the worst rapper oat), but you can't be a bad father.

    Yes, indirectly. There is a whole slew of uneducated holocaust deniers and Kanye fans that will latch on and eat up everything this man is saying. It’s feeding into people who will legitimately harm real people. Sure, Kanye isn’t out there murdering or killing Jews. But look at it like this. Trump wasn’t out there killing asians when COVID (“Chinese virus”) hit. But real Asian people were getting beaten and harassed by people who followed and listened to that rhetoric.

    there are (many) people listening to Kanye West’s bs and not only supporting it, but encouraging it. Kanye is not the first person to say this s---. But he’s giving more of a voice to that group of people than they ever deserved.

They also circulated a photo of a choir performance by her older son, who had survived the shooting, to suggest that no children had been killed at the school.

    “It is one thing to lose a child,” said Wheeler. “It’s quite another thing when people take everything about your boy who is gone, and your surviving child, and your husband, and everything you ever did in your life on the internet and harass you.”

    Robbie Parker’s daughter Emilie, 6, was killed in the shooting. He was the first parent to speak publicly in the wake of the massacre. Just before Parker made an anguished statement to the media, he gave a brief nervous smile as he saw the assembled journalists. Jones seized on the moment as evidence of the purported hoax, playing the seconds-long clip again and again in the years after the shooting.

    Yup, he filed for bankruptcy I believe. Crazy to think the Sandy hook shooting happened in my state. Happy the parents could get some sort of compensation even though it doesn't really change anything.

    I'm wondering what his actual goal is here. Has he just lost it, or is there a reason behind it? How do you go from being Gospel to this?

    Everyone just needs to stop letting him talk on their shows and let him fade off. Don't give him any media attention.

    I find that's a slippery slope though....we cancel his albums, ok, then what? what about the albums he produced or had a significant hand in producing (Blueprint, Be, Daytona)? I think you could still enjoy the music while acknowledging that the artist is a piece of s---.
