Jan 8, 2016 As it turns out, Madlib's beat for "No More Parties in LA" can be traced all the way back to 2010 and 'Ye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy sessions. A few years ago, Kanye was featured in some bonus footage from Stones Throw's Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton documentary where he shared his admiration for Madlib and talked about working with him in the studio. "I just paint the scene of how I felt sitting there with Madlib working on these tracks and just hearing the textures," he said, before rapping the line, "Over at the crib you left your Ray-Bans/My sheets still orange from your spray tan/No more parties in LA/No more parties in LA." That's pretty much what he rhymes on the preview of "No More Parties in LA": "Hey baby you forgot your Ray-Bans/And my sheets still orange from your spray tan." Additionally, Madlib spoke with LA Weekly back in 2010 and revealed he gave five beats to Kanye for his "new album." Of course, the "new album" ended up being My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. In the documentary, Kanye added, "We have to get some more Madlib beats for the next projects." Source: Complex
