    50 Cent made a deal and said he would retire if Kanye outsold him. Unfourtunately for him, Kanye ended up outselling him lol.

    By 2007 50 Cent had plateaued and Kanye was just entering his prime so 50 probably overestimated his star power based on his previous albums.

    Anyway, what a great rollout that was compared to the shitshow that has been the last few Kanye albums.

    50 said that when he heard "Naaaa na na na wait until I get my money right" he knew he was in trouble. That people would connect with that. Something along those lines.

    Except we need him to add drums not take away things this time lol. Also someone needs to tell Kanye his punch ins sound like s---. Sit down, record the whole verse or as much as you can in one take, and then make the punch in undetectable. Enough with the punching in every line with your voice and delivery being different

    The weird thing is that people who heard the album in Vegas said that the album was fully finished. So that means that for some reason Kanye decided to play demos instead of a full album that was all done and ready a few weeks ago.

    They sent out a press release and there's commercial tie-ins with the NBA/Beats/Nike/Olympics and a Rolling Loud performance and a listening party. It's definitely coming out.
