    My wife hates Kanye but likes "how all of these songs sound" - so if somebody could unironically make a DONDA version without Kanye I guess I'd take it :emoji_weary:

    I don't really like it. Every song feels like it builds up towards something that just never comes. I didn't expect Jail to have the same beat go on for 5 mins. I never could've imagined that I would be this bored while listening to a Kanye album, even though the last one I truly enjoyed was TLOP.

    I think it's carried by production. And everything sounded bigger watching the event. If you focus on the music, it's really not all that

    After two full listens, I think the only ones I don't like are:

    Donda Chant - I don't mind that it's here, but I'm not rushing to throw it on the aux any time soon
    OK OK - ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh mid
    Second half of 24 - first half is the only think keeping me from deleting this from my library forever
    Heaven and h--- - it's alright...probably one of my more liked ones on this list
    Keep My Spirit Alive - mid and I hate Westside Gunn's voice
    New Again - glad he removed those Black Sheep noises, but still skippable
    No Child Left Behind - probably gonna catch some shade for this one but it's a little too JIK for me

    I get that, but 1 single discussing how jesus songs won't get radio play to modern day 1 single that's rap-like among 20 gospel-church-choir songs, dressing like the kkk with smooth hats and doing hymns with random in fields and burning ya church/childhood home in a stadium...

    Idk man, I'm trying to like it. I think this might be second to last in front of JIK for me. To be fair tho, Kanye's discography is great so second to last isn't necessarily awful. IIRC I didn't like Ye, Pablo, or Yeezus at first but I've come around on all of those. We'll see I guess. Kanye is just super off putting to me now.

    3 listens and I don't like this. I also hate Carti's voice which makes it worse since he's on like 3 songs?

    First track I heard by him was Jesus Walks, I was like "f--- no, this is not for me". Then I heard more songs and gave his debut a chance.

    To me, his career ended on Ye and KSG
