    2nd half of the album drags on until you get to the stretch of pt. 2s. This album is definitely Kanye’s messiest/most disorganized. Better than his last two efforts but I wouldn’t say better than TLOP.

    My main problem with DONDA is this: Kanye seems to have forgotten how to make great drops. Now don’t get me wrong - I like the album, but the whole thing seems to skate by at 45mph the entire time. Think of a song like All Of The Lights which builds up into this amazingly epic moment. Now compare that song to any song on here. The song structure just isn’t there anymore. I think a song like NCLB could really benefit from one of these moments. Instead, it just slowly goes on and on until it’s over.

    With that being said, this is my favourite Kanye album in a long long time. I’m happy with it, I just wish it was a bit more exciting

    I heard some songs more than once. But I wanted to listen to the actual album for the second time today and lost interest in it halfway through. There's always a track I like, and then I feel like skipping the next one most of the times.

    Was there a verse cut from "god breathed"? Half of the song was just the beat. Song would've been much better if it just had ended right there in the middle.

    There’s also sequencing issues, an overall rough sound, the part 2 bs. All in all there’s a great album here, I’m sure someone will find it

    where is the internet losing my family joint? That was the highlight of the LPs to me

    something big seems to be brewing behind the scenes rn surrounding Ye and his team and mistreatment of artists..nothing’s really fully come out but you got durk changing his IG avy to drake and CB called him a hoe lol dj envy went on breakfast club saying there’s some s--- going on they can’t talk about and flamed him

    This record having 23-27 tracks shows the underlying problem. It has a lot of tracks which are okayish or decent. But there aren't many great tracks. If there were 10 great tracks, you could take those tracks and make a tight album.

    Usually Kanye's albums are experimental and forward-looking. This is the same guy who made sonically ambitious projects like Graduation and TLOP.

    But most of DONDA sounds conventional. Trap beats, contemporary rap features, etc. It sounds like a rap album.

    It sounds quite similar to TLOP actually and Graduation is a straight rap album with some electronic influence.
