    The 'kanye sucks' comments maybe but most of us are not sure about this project even people that don't like m&m. I mean u have to be a huge kanye stan to not admit the dude has been a little washed as well lately don't u agree ?

    I don't really agree but since 2002 kanye's career s----s on eminems obviously

    But we don't need to compare (bring em up at all) kanye to eminem to just agree that kanye isn't what he used to be lately, unfortunately

    I mean he made Ye in a week, but yea it’s his worst album. If he still puts his time into a record it’s gonna be good

    I'll give em kamikaze over ye but but it's not even close with the rest of his 2010s output

    plus you gotta be so dusty to not think 2010-2013 is ye's creative peak lol

    The problem with Ye to me is that it’s just so “meh.” Like, I don’t ever want to go back and listen to it, and that’s saying something when it’s only 7 songs and 20 minutes long. Nothing is embarrassingly bad by any means, but it’s the definition of forgettable. All that said, Ghost Town is a classic song to me.

    The people who don’t like Yeezus yet just confuse me. It’s like the haven’t really even listened to it and are still riding the hate train from its initial release. I was just watching some Yeezus era interviews again, and I miss the pissed off Kanye lol. 2010-2013 easily his peak, and if he continued with the All Day/Only One record in 2015 that would have been classic too.

    I do like Kamikaze, but songs like Normal (embarrassing song), Nice Guy, and Venom are all worse than anything on Ye. Funnily enough, if Kamikaze was cut to 7 songs it’d be a lot better

    yeah there are some interesting threads on ye (the sonic direction it was going with those first two songs kinda feels in the same vein as FML/wolves and it woulda been cool to hear that fleshed out) but overall it's just so...flat. And the thing that got to me when I relistened a few months back was that the rapping itself just sounds so lazy and uninspired on most of it.

    Still more interesting than chance's album, somehow.

    The rapping 100% sounds lazy as f---. Like, it's a step above the mumble reference, but there's no emotion in the delivery at all.

    I'll never listen to The Big Day record again. Who told him it was a good idea to drop 22 songs in the first place lol
