    I think calling this a “5” is generous but thats what I’d give it. You can’t deny the production and the features. He had some decent spots. It’s not a total piece of s--- but it’s incredibly disappointing.

    Ok gave it a full listen

    On god is amazing
    I also like closed on sunday tbh

    Like @Big Cuntry said its waaaay to preachy but can we really use that as fair criticism? Its called jesus is king lol what do we expect?

    Sonically some of the songs are really nice but some are also corny as s--- to me (the actual sunday service songs and intro's).

    Every hour, god is, even selah, jesus is lord, water are instant skips to me because of the preachy s---.

    The Ty collab, on god, follow god, I like those. Even the clipse collab is underwhelming. Hands on you is mehh as well.

    So yeah I dunno lol, some production is great but this album is definitely not for me.

    The 3 songs I like are, to me > ye though

    I don't think I will ever like a full Kanye album again :mjcry:

    Comes off as preachy, insincere and above all bland and boring.

    I can comfortably say I’ll never listen to this again. The production is pretty good as most Kanye albums are but far too preachy making the album just a chore to listen. Some of the songs are just super simplistic which normally isn’t necessarily a bad thing but if you’re just playing a sample on a loop & then harmonizing for like 15-30 seconds; it makes these songs sound like unfinished demos. Clipse just sounds awkward on this...I’m guessing Push was kind of forced to make this feature happen. That pretty much sums it up for me. Idk what else to even say about this.

    I dunno but rn I kinda feel the same I felt about Ye, not interested in listening ever again except a few songs. But yeah stans always get over emotional whatever artist they stan lol

    Selah - ruined a great leak but fine still a good song

    Follow God - dope

    Closed on Sunday - cool

    On God - crazy

    Everything We Need - Ty sounds great, cool song

    Water - worst song he’s ever made

    God Is - Sounds like the verse was written by a first grader at a catholic school writing about how much he loves Jesus at Christmas time even though he has no real feeling of who that person is

    Hands On - cool beat

    Use This Gospel - ruined a potential all timer that was the OG law of attraction. Comes in awkward as f---. Random as f--- placement of the Kenny g solo. I’ll never forgive him for this.

    Jesus is Lord - works better as the intro than what he used

    altogether, this sounds terribly mixed, like Kanye put no effort into his vocals. Like wtf??? Half his singing his voice cracks. One raw take of vocals when he’s singing. Worse than Ye in first listen. f--- man. The first half I really liked though but it falls off after EWN. Idk man. I like some flows and melodies, but he’s not even trying with his vocal takes.

    On God is hot trash. I don’t want to hear a multimillionaire who’s part of one of the biggest families in entertainment complain about paying taxes and using that to justify grossly overcharging people on shoes. Every bar Kanye used to say on his first 6 albums resonated with me in some way. In no way do I buy “I need to feed my family” from a guy that rich.
