Intro through Everything We Need is fire then Water (Kanye’s third grade Jesus poem) and God Is (Kanye’s s-----y voice cracking singing) s--- and then the last two tracks and the outro are fire. 7/10 album.

The main problem imo isnt the religious theme but the length of the songs. Each song It feels like your f---ing a real hot woman but she calls it quit before you c-m

actually wish I hadn't listened to the leaks before this, definitely f----- up my first listen. but a few spins later and I'm enjoying this a lot more. Its nowhere near as bad as people are making it out to be. There are some incredible standout moments, a Kanye album will never sound bad (although the mixing should absolutely be better). With this approach and subject matter it could have easily dragged on but its short and concise enough to keep me interested throughout. Plus its entirely new territory for someone as successful as Ye, 15+ years into his career. Thats admirable.

That being said there are still major flaws. Kanye himself sounds.... bored? Or is he trying to sound meek? For a topic that is supposedly so close to his heart he sounds decidedly deflated. That Kanye energy is noticeably absent. Maybe he's just getting old. The Clipse and Ty features are some of the best moments on the album, I think this could have benefitted tremendously from a few other features. I keep expecting DMX to show up at some point lol. As for the subject matter itself... I appreciate the risk and the passion but it just doesn't all come together like it should have. Or could have. The whole thing feels inconsequential. I guess i was expecting an album full of Ultralight Beams.

Eitherway, still interesting af. Definitley still needs more time to sink in. Curious to see if he updates this and if so what he changes.

Well, I expected way more from Kanye this time. But overall this album is really bad. Way too short(barely 30 minutes), way too lazy raps from him with wack and corny lyrics. 3-4 good tracks(Selah, Follow God, God is and Use this Gospel). The rest is absolutely forgettable. Water und Everything we need are pure trash songs. He had a hard downfall the last 4-5 years. It's a shame. Album is a 4 or 5/10 at best.

Push would actually have some drums in his beats. Adding drums to all of these would put this into a top produced album oat.

Literally could have been an album of FSMH pt 1 if he added some drops and wasnt bat s---
