Jan 5, 2015 Lmao at bragging about how little you post on a forum. If you have a phone s--- takes like 2 minutes max to type a well-worded thought out response.
Jan 5, 2015 Gave the site a shoutout in this piece on Only One I did for HuffPost: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/andy-hoglund-/how-kanyes-only-one-makes_b_6404816.html tweet it out if you love me/the site
Jan 5, 2015 Really great piece. I'm kinda shocked how so many people got offended at the notion that Paul isn't really a relevant artist in 2014/15. Yeah everyone knows who he is, and yes he's an important musical figure (historically), but what was the last thing he did that was noteworthy? The "nirvana reunion" stunt? But honestly, I think the real test will be his presence on this supposed song with Rihanna.
Jan 5, 2015 Great thought, thanks. Yeah, if you read the comment section people are outraged at me. But... what exactly is controversial? It's 2015, not 1975. He may be a legend, but his current catalog isn't exactly trailblazing...
Jan 5, 2015 90% of those tweets were definitely in jest. The media got fooled super hard by them though, lol.
Jan 5, 2015 the more obnoxious ones were the people who were saying that they lost all respect for McCartney for working with that thug/gangster/whatever who had clearly never heard Kanye's music. I think it is less of a crime to be a young person and not know Paul McCartney than to be an older music fan and be so dismissive like that.
Jan 5, 2015 LOL I just read all the comments on @captain awesome 's article. One of the guys commenting is 23. People from my own generation who only listen to classic rock and dismiss all other genres are such f---ing tools. Bruh you weren't even alive when that s--- came out, stop acting like you're nostalgic for it.
Jan 5, 2015 ^right? because dismissing a groundbreaking musical act as gimmicky pop garbage is something that all Beatles fans should understand
Jan 5, 2015 lol exactly. People react so spiteful when you tell them this collaboration may bring McCartney back into the limelight. Sure, he's still touring all over the world but people (mostly 50+ from the concerts of him I've attended) come to see him for The Beatles, not his rather disappointing solo work. It's a perfectly valid claim to make.
Jan 5, 2015 ^ this. They think it is meant in a negative way towards Paul, offensive, while it's a nothing but a good thing, for both of them. Some might also start listening and appreciate Kanye's music, if they're not close minded and stuck in the past.
Jan 6, 2015 You've angered the HuffPo Hipster class, and unearthed possibly the most ignorant group of music listeners I've seen for a while. @BigCountry said it perfectly. These are the types of pretentious f---s in their mid-twenties who sit in cafés and act like the saw the Beatles live back in the day. Bunch of losers.
