Nov 6, 2015 His ego in front of the media doesn't quite correlate with his music. He has 6 brilliant albums, can't go wrong with any although I would start with The College Dropout, his first album was his first classic.
Nov 6, 2015 i mean you cant expect someone of his level of fame and talent to keep a completely level head, so yeah fame has kinda took him but i still believe although some of the ways he goes about saying things is awful, the idea comes from a good place. tag me with your first impressions
Nov 6, 2015 Are you sure we're talking about the same person in terms of Ego? Didn't he just have a song just days ago titled "Pi** On Your Grave" or something along the lines of that? Noted: I understand it was just a feature in the track but still..
Nov 6, 2015 I'm not the biggest fan of Piss on you grave either, but he's not a horrible person at all though. I swear the media likes manipulate people into hating him, he is quite often misunderstood by them. The College Dropout is nothing like Piss On Your Grave anyway.
Nov 6, 2015 Going to check out the project that @Maximus recommended then I will forsure peep that project also, will be sure to let you both know my first impressions.
Nov 6, 2015 Yeah I understand this, every culture is different. Here in Australia. 'Mad c----' is the highest compliment you can ever give to someone.
Nov 6, 2015 I'm prolly the odd one out in every culture. I just don't like putting people down with any form of jokes. Weird i know.
Nov 6, 2015 Yeah let's go back on topic. With the way he talks about this I really hope it will be like -or at least close to- MBDTF
Nov 6, 2015 The thing is he likes to do his own thing and disappoint everyone in the process.. but THAT'S what makes him so great imo!
Nov 6, 2015 i think everyone would agree that MDBTF is the most accessable kanye album, i might actually go listen to it again
Nov 6, 2015 im sorry man, didnt know you were like that i will keep my toilet humour away from you next time im actually doing civil engineering so i know how to keep it civil
Nov 6, 2015 Not going to lie I have made it to 6. Monster (featuring Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj & Bon Iver). And honestly, I am not feeling this project at all my favorite part of the entire project this far was when the background vocals said "How can we get much higher" during Dark Fantasy. Maybe I am going to need to listen to the project again after making it all the way through it could just be one of those projects that I feel Lukewarm about at the beginning and then progress to like it. Best track this far has for sure been Gorgeous I feel like Kanye West works a lot better when complimented by Kid Cudi.
Nov 6, 2015 niicki's verse on monster is hands down the best mainstream verse from a female ever... but yeah kanye isnt suuuppeerrr lyrical, although he is sometimes, you have to remeber he is a producer first and rapper second i think the key to liking a kanye project is to strip down your percieved notions of him as a musician and just take in his music for what it is
