You're paying for the streaming service (average market value for a month is $10 -- Spotify, etc) and they throw in an album or two every month, it definitely makes it worth the money Plus, if they release something from Kanye/Jay tomorrow, people are going to buy in alone because of how spontaneous it would be edit: Obviously everyone else will get their hands on the music at the end of the day, but making it that Tidal is a service where you get it first. Especially if they release all material electronically, no space for leaks and such edit 2: They already have Rihanna's new single as an exclusive on Tidal, not on Spotify... Doing s--- like that will reel people in, especially when the future of music is shifting towards streaming

Mar 30, 2015 Spotify is goat btw. I used to be the ignorant guy saying "i can just torrent music for free anyway," but i recently got a 24 month free subscription to Spotify with my phone contract. Barely ever use itunes now... finding so much new music through the playlists too. There are such a ridiculous amount of playlists. Even ones for moods or doing certain things. One called "eating an italian dinner" and that's relatively popular lol. they get pretty obscure. I advise everyone to at least give it a go.
Mar 30, 2015 I've been using Spotify premium for 2 years now and I couldn't live without it. HQ streaming, offline downloads, its a perfect service well worth the 10EUR p/m. I barely even download music anymore. Don't intend on leaving it anytime soon. It'd be great if Kanye released his album through Tidal though.

Mar 30, 2015 I've been using Pandora One for a year now. You guys have me thinking I need to spend another $5 per month and switch to Spotify. I do enjoy the randomness of Pandora though. It definitely has introduced me to a good amount of new music.
