Feb 14, 2016 It was never about being a lyricist to me though. It's just outside of a few tracks, there is nothing special about the album, just tracks with good (albeit generic) beats somewhat thrown together into a tracklist. That's why I say it's an album about nothing, because there is nothing about this album that impacts me, or causes any type of emotion out of me. It was just me listening to the album, nodding my head a few times with a few "I f--- with this" here and there. That's me saying that without looking at his previous albums, when compared to his other albums it just makes this album feel worse to me. There's nothing really intrigues me to listen through the album again and pick it apart like I did with albums like Yeezus and MBDTF because of how shallow it feels from the lyrics to some of the production. It just doesn't have the Kanye-quality feel to it which just overall makes this album a 6-7/10 for me.
Feb 14, 2016 Anyone here of opinion that 808s is his best album? Been fun lurking this place, but I'll join up the convo a bit from here on out. TLOP is good, with a few up-with-the-best tracks.
Feb 14, 2016 I listened to street lights on the way home after breaking up with a GF in December as it was snowing and have s----d d-ck ever since
