Mar 15, 2016 you guys need to stop getting so emotional over this rollout and just view it as what it is -- something completely unique and batshit crazy for an artist as big as kanye to pull its on a scale like 50000x bigger than death grips and their fan base only people im fine w being frustrated are people who spent money for things they havent received yet rest of u need to calm down
Mar 15, 2016 Death Grips didn't rip us off. The worst thing they did was break a promise that their album would drop before the year ended. They finished the album October 2014 and it came out March 2015, six months, also the usual length of the distribution process. And h---, they dropped a random album inbetween to hold fans over while still f---ing with them. Essentially, they took the normal album release process and did as much as they could to mangle it into something new and fresh. This is not a normal album release process, which I'd be fine with but considering I and many other people were ripped off, it's bs. Either Kanye's doing a really good job seeming like he's off his rocker or he really is going mad.
Mar 15, 2016 You right though. I use to watch so many battles. I peeped one of your battles, can't remember which. it was dope too.
Mar 15, 2016 let me reiterate this, im all for odd album campaigns and f---ing with fans, but i seriously do not know if that's kanye's intent with this album release he's being an a------ about this but is not self-aware about it
Mar 15, 2016 @Narsh I do think you are literally the only one who thinks this rollout is interesting instead of dumb tho. Just stop f---ing around Kanye smh
Mar 15, 2016 its clearly been his intent from the first title change. and the first tracklist change. and the 2nd title change. and the 2nd tracklist change.and on. and on. and on.
Mar 15, 2016 Final Wolves is gonna be the best song ever made in music history so shut the f--- up and wait
Mar 15, 2016 Looks like Bjork won't be on it. "Update 07/03: Maybe Cashmere Cat was trolling us after all — Björk has informed us that she's not featured on the track." Source: http://www.dazeddigital.com/music/a...-drake-about-to-feature-on-a-kanye-west-track
Mar 15, 2016 no, it's pretty obvious he just doesn't know what the f--- he's doing with this album/hasn't been able to decide what he wants to do with it and can't stick to it because he's overloaded
Mar 15, 2016 normal album release: make album, set release date, hype it up in the meantime, then release it kanye: make album, give no release date but say it's coming soon, continue to change it while promising it's coming soon, continue to hype it up, change the name, scrap the singles, delay it until the next year, announce a date and another name change, change the name again, change the tracklist, miss the release date, say it's coming still, set a new date, wait for the release date, don't put out the album, stream a different version of it after while everyone is expecting a release, don't release it again, perform and say the album's coming right after, then only release an unfinished version of it on an overpriced s--- stream site no one wants to use while ripping people off who actually paid for the album itself, wait a month, start making more changes and promising to fix things, don't give a date for it to actually be done, don't release it in physical form at all and keep it as a Tidal exclusive, still no finalized version of the album BRILLIANT HE'S A GENIUS, WHY DON'T YOU ALL SEE IT
Mar 15, 2016 just because it's unique and batshit crazy does not make it cool or fun or interesting. It just makes it frustrating and actually ends up killing my hype more than anything. I'm not the only person that feels this way. In fact I'd be willing to bet the majority of people would agree with me. It's only you and the rest of Kanye's most dedicated knob-slobbers that are eating this s--- up happily. It's crazy because I really would probably consider myself a stan if we're only talking about the music itself. But this rollout is dumb as f---.
Mar 15, 2016 Alright, guess I'll go back on my point then and say I think Kanye went overboard on the album campaign then. There's a certain time when you know when to stop and when to spread out information, and Kanye has been way past that point with prolonging this release with too much information. Like this is an album campaign that should have an air of mystery to it and because of his daily Twitter rants and other s---, that air of mystery is nonexistent. The only mystery we have is when is this s--- gonna be fully done?
