Jan 26, 2016 Only thing that has me worried is that the 2 songs we've heard in full, while good enough for bonus/throwaway tracks, I didn't think were album quality. Now those make up 20% of the album.
Jan 26, 2016 He's reworking them in some way. Kendrick is redoing his verse without the Gremlin voice (His voice now is so much better then that voice) and Real Friends will probably be slightly different.
Jan 26, 2016 Not 100%. But, it's obvious something is going to change. Kendrick was seen in the studio with Kanye (Unless he's doing 2 features on SWISH) and even though G.O.O.D Friday's in 2016 doesn't really exist, when the songs from MBDTF were released On GF vs. the album, they changed up a bit.
Jan 26, 2016 No. It's just a likely assumption. When I mean "changes", I mean minor tweaking, like Kanye did with Black Skinhead on SNL Vs. The Album. he's Bound 2 (Pun Intended) change something, and based off the evidence, it seems like Kendrick redoing his verse is likely.
Jan 26, 2016 If this s--- tops Yeezus Yeezus is hands down Ye's best followed by a tie between MBDTF and 808's. There's no correct order. Just my faves tbh. Still think were getting two albums. Double disk. SWISH & So Help Me God. And I predict this is his last album.
Jan 26, 2016 missed you too b decided to live life instead of being disappointed over and over waiting for this
Jan 26, 2016 For my first post on s80 I just wanted to say that this album is probably going to sound like some mixture between Ye's different styles. Real Friends & Wolves sound very 808's-ish because of the atmospheric and layered production, while No More Parties in LA has the perfect MBDTF feeling of energy, playfulness and straight up bars. The WAVES snippets seem to be a completely different beast though, reminding me more of Yeezus than anything else. What's important to consider though is that Ye always steps it up and does something different every album so I think he's gonna take inspiration from his past career and combine all his styles and create something new from it
Jan 26, 2016 Thanks, I didn't wanna start out with a generic post so I provided my thoughts on the album's sound. I think I already like this forum a lot more than KTT, the energy here is a lot more positive, while KTT is all about shouting down people who disagree and shitposting (this comes from someone who has over 1.3k posts on KTT)
